Our specialist restorer, Richard, has been involved in the world of conservation and restoration for over 30 years.  Born in London, he studied fine art at the University of Westminster before gaining his honours degree at the University of Kent in Canterbury.  His post graduate studies took him to Liverpool University.

He also holds a Diploma in Craft Design and Technology from London University and the prestigious Diploma in Furniture Restoration awarded by the British Antique Dealers Association at West Dean.

Before immigrating to Australia, he worked for the famous firm of Plowden & Smith in London, who held the Royal Warrant for Conservation.
